Colour-In: before the colouring starts

• Check that the product is intended for colouring. Our current Colour-In T-shirts include the personalised outline design; fabric pens are not included.
• Choose colouring materials labelled for use on fabric. Ordinary paper pens are not a substitute.
• Read the colouring-material instructions, including age guidance and supervision, before starting.

Make a little space for creativity

Use a protected, flat surface. Place a suitable protective layer inside the T-shirt so colour does not transfer to the back. Take your time and let each area dry as directed.

Follow the colouring-material manufacturer's instructions for drying or fixing the colour. Any heat-setting step should be handled by an adult as directed. Do not assume all pens are washable or permanent, or that the colour can be washed out and reapplied.

Washing and everyday care

Follow the garment care label and any product-specific decoration instructions. These take priority over general advice. Your chosen fabric colouring materials may also require a waiting period or another step before washing.

Use the instructions for the exact garment, whether it is a child's or an adult's style. Do not assume two T-shirts have the same care requirements because their designs look similar.

Full Colour: a finished-colour design

Full Colour is coming soon and is not available to order yet. These finished-colour designs are separate from the Colour-In range and are not intended as a colouring activity. When choosing a product, follow its own garment and print-care instructions rather than the fabric-pen advice above.
